AI Software Ignites a Billion-Dollar Hardware Scramble

Thinking of investing in the AI sector but don’t know where to start? Well, I have good news and bad news…

The good news is this is one of the most lucrative opportunities in the tech sector. We haven't seen technology with this much disruptive potential since the computer was invented.

Some top dogs in the industry are calling it “the next iPhone moment,” while others are kicking themselves for not diving in sooner.

The bad news? This stuff is complicated on an entirely different level than most tech breakthroughs.

It’s not completely inaccessible to the everyday investor, but I’d strongly advise against going in unprepared. There are plenty of killer stock plays that don’t require a Ph.D. in computer science to follow.

AI software runs on such advanced code that many of its programmers don’t even know how it works. It’s part of the reason why Bing’s chatbot has been returning such bizarre and often terrifying answers

But the best part of this radical new technology is that you don’t need to understand it completely — I sure as heck don’t.

What we DO understand is that AI requires a massive amount of processing power. It’s a fact that many of these hype articles completely ignore.

These programs won’t be able to become an everyday part of life without an enormous hardware upgrade. Without revolutionary computer chips to run this revolutionary software, AI is dead in the water.

Enter Nvidia, the Front-Runner in AI Chipmaking

I’m sure you won't be shocked to hear that Nvidia, arguably the top computer chip company on the planet, is already racing to bring the first AI-friendly processor to market.

The Nvidia A100 is an absolute beast. It costs $10,000, performs almost 20x better than its predecessors, and sets new world records in just about every metric. This is the type of chip that will power the AI revolution.

For the sprawling supply chains that support major upgrades like this, it means a massive payday. AI might not be fully mature until tomorrow, but this is the type of investment that could earn you millions TODAY.

ChatGPT, DALL-E, and other mind-blowing AI tools have already hit the mainstream media, but their existence relies on enormous data centers that run up exorbitant power bills. Imagine the cost when everything becomes AI-powered.

This Nvidia chip is the first of its kind, but there will definitely be competition during the next few years. In fact, I think it’s safe to assume that every chipmaker on Earth will start prioritizing chips that are beefy enough for AI.

OpenAI, the current leader in AI software, is still a private company — for now. Many of the most interesting startups still have yet to go public.

That means investors either make pennies with blue chips like Google or Microsoft, or they dig deeper and find the behind-the-scenes suppliers that could potentially double their market cap on a single deal.

The tech industry is full of companies that hand the bulk of their production over to one company. Skyworks, a major supplier of hardware for Apple, has practically built its business around the tech giant’s endless demand.

In the next few years, Nvidia won’t be the only company providing advanced hardware to the AI industry — the company could never have the bandwidth, regardless of how big it is.

That opens up the door to hundreds of small-cap competitors that are looking to carve out their niche. And some of them have the potential to reach enormous gains — we’re expecting triple-, quadruple-, or even quintuple-digit returns from some of these positions.
